Itinerary

The adventure begins! Land in Antananarivo, the vibrant capital of Madagascar. We'll take you to rest at the cozy Hotel X to recharge.

Head to Andasibe, with a stop at the Private Reserve of Peyreiras to immerse ourselves in nature. Explore the charming village of Moramanga and Andasibe. Stay at Hotel X.

Wake up in Analamazaotra National Park, home to the majestic indri indri lemur and its fauna and flora. In the afternoon, venture into the Vakona Private Reserve (lemur island and crocodile park). Rest at Hotel X in Andasibe.

Journey to Manambato to reach the palmarium. Lunch at the hotel and a little rest in the afternoon to prepare for the night visit. Aye-aye lemurs await us on an islet. Night visit for an hour and a half. Night at Hotel X in Akanin'ny Nofy.

Forest excursion in Akanin'ny Nofy to see its fauna and flora such as indri indri, macaque lemur, black-and-white lemur, vanilla plantation, and carnivorous plant Nepenthes madagascariensis. Lunch at the hotel, and in the afternoon, enjoy a concert by a Betsimisaraka ethnic group. Night at the hotel in Akanin'ny Nofy.

A stop in the city of Moramanga to see a historical monument for the Malagasy people (the cradle of the Malagasy rebellion of 1947 for our independence). Arrival in Tana. Night at Hotel X in Tana.

Departure from Tana to Antsirabe, stopping in the city of Ambatompy, where the famous Malagasy pottery factory is located. Discover the A to Z process and continue to Antsirabe. Lunch in Antsirabe and in the afternoon, head to Lake Tritriva (a volcanic crater) to discover this beautiful lake with the Malagasy Romeo and Juliet history, a volcanic crater full of stories. Return to the hotel in the evening. Night at the hotel in Antsirabe.

Depart in the morning to Morondava, passing through the volcanic landscape of the Ankaratra massif. Enjoy the day taking photos on the road with the Antafofo waterfall in Betafo and the geological formation of this area like the "lavaka"; a fault in the mountain. Stop in Miandrivazo for lunch. Continue our way to Morondava, crossing two large rivers, exploring semi-arid landscapes, and resting at Hotel X in Morondava.

Early departure to Bekopaka. Stop at the famous Avenue of the Baobabs to enjoy this site at first sight and then continue to Belotsiribihina crossing a river by ferry. Lunch in Belotsiribihina. In the afternoon, head to the Tsingy, following the 4x4 caravan. Embark on an exciting 4x4 journey through extensive meadows and wooded savannah landscapes in the west, providing us with a safari-like experience. The muddy crossings and slides will surely surprise us, creating a small dose of excitement. Night at the hotel in Bekopaka.

Day 10 :
Bekopaka

Early departure for a tour in the Manambolo Gorge discovering the stalagmite and the origin of the "vazimba" protomalgache people. Then, continue to the Grand Tsingy, starting the adventure through the rocky natural park. This park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990, features a unique karstic relief in the world, covering approximately 150,000 km2. These limestone reliefs are home to around 90 species of birds, 8 species of reptiles, and a dozen lemurs. Picnic in the park and return to the hotel in Bekopaka in the afternoon. Night at the hotel in Bekopaka.

A day by car to return to Morondava, with some stops for photos of the sacred and in love baobab and to witness the sunset at the famous Avenue of the Baobabs. Night at the hotel in Morondava.

Return to Antsirabe, with photographic stops (Manambolo and Belotsiribihina rivers, gold nugget mines) to capture the beauty of the road. Night at Hotel X in Antsirabe.

Visit craft shops in Antsirabe (Joseph, Horn, and Miniature of bycy or car) and a tour on Independence Avenue with the Malagasy rickshaw (pousse-pousse) to see the "thermal hotel," cathedral, vegetable market "tsenakely." Continue our way to Ambositra, visit the Malagasy marquetry, and lunch in Ambositra. Continue in the afternoon to Ranomafana. Night visit to see the mouse lemur and chameleons and other species that come out at night. Night at Hotel X in Ranomafana.

Visit Ranomafana National Park to discover its fauna and flora, especially lemurs (bamboo lemurs, sifaka, and other species of reptiles), orchids, and more. Lunch at a restaurant in Ranomafana, and in the afternoon, visit an arboretum to see chameleons, Madagascar palm trees, birds, and another ecosystem of the rainforest. To end this day, visit the "Tanala" village to see their customs and bamboo dance with a group of their ethnicity. Night at the hotel in Ranomafana.

Early departure to go to Fianarantsoa. Visit the old city of Fianarantsoa. Visit the "lambalandy" or most important silk fabric factory for our custom, called "return of the dead." Every Wednesday, the cattle market happens here in this village, Ambalavao. Continue and visit the Anja Reserve to see the ring-tailed lemurs and chameleons. Lunch in a restaurant closer to the reserve, and in the afternoon, continue south; some stops for photos like "the Malagasy Uluru, the Madagascar Serengeti (endless plain)." Night in a hotel in Ranohira.

Explore the natural wonder of Isalo National Park. Let yourself be captivated by spectacular Jurassic landscapes, natural pools, and the magic of local fauna. A picnic in the park will be the perfect break. Return to the hotel and end the day at the Window of Isalo, enjoying the sunset through unique rock formations. Night at Hotel X in Ranohira.

Start the day exploring the fascinating sapphire mines in Ilakaka. Continue to Tulear, capturing the beauty at every stop, from the Baobab "adansonia za" to the mahafaly tombs. Lunch in Tulear and exploration of the shell market before reaching Mangily Ifaty. Night at Hotel X in Mangily.

A day of water adventures in Ifaty! Embark on a sea excursion for diving or snorkeling on the coral reef. Discover the charm of the fishing village. Return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the evening in Mangily.

Transfer to Tulear to take the domestic flight to Antananarivo. Explore the lively Anakely market and its surroundings. Night at Hotel X in Antananarivo.
